Miami Dolphins sign former CFL defensive lineman Brandin Bryant

The Miami Dolphins have signed former CFL defensive lineman Brandin Bryant.

The 26-year-old Bryant spent two seasons in the Canadian Football League, suiting up in 10 games with Winnipeg in 2018 and one game with Montreal in 2019. In 11 games north of the border, the six-foot-three, 304-pounder made 12 tackles and two sacks.

Bryant made his regular season NFL debut in 2019 with Cleveland, playing in four games making three tackles. He also spent time with the N.Y. Jets (2016-2017) and originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Seattle on May 6, 2016.

During his four-year NCAA career at Florida Atlantic University, Bryant totalled 121 tackles, 25.0 for loss, 12.5 sacks, knocked down two passes and forced one fumble.

Since the Browns waived Bryant in May he had been a free agent, however the Dolphins provided another opportunity to make an active NFL roster.
