Former CFL OL Peter Dyakowski trounces TSN’s Matthew Scianitti in Timbit eating contest

It was Tim Hortons Camp Day on Wednesday, August 12 and to help raise money for a worthy cause former CFL offensive lineman Peter Dyakowski and TSN reporter Matthew Scianitti competed in a Timbit eating contest.

Dyakowski and Scianitti have slightly different body types, but none the less the two men convened at the Tim Hortons located inside the Hockey Hall of Fame. Former teammate Marwan Hage was there along with hated rival Adriano Belli.

The man himself is here at the Hall of Fame taking me on. He may have TV’s greatest shoe game, but looks don’t count for much in the Camp Day Timbits challenge, Dyakowski wrote on Twitter

For every Timbit eaten $10 went to campers. Dyakowski put down 100 Timbits and his total turns into $1,000 boosted by a combined tally from the group of $3,000. Scianitti ate 30 which means Dyakowski more than tripled his competitor.

Everyone wins on Tim Hortons Camp Day.
