TSN’s CFL 2020 show announced its all-time team for the Montreal Alouettes on Friday.
The all-time roster project has already covered the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Calgary Stampeders and will continue through each of the remaining CFL franchises.
Rosters feature one head coach, 12 offensive players, 12 defensive players, three special teamers, and an indeterminant number of foundational players that made a mark on the franchise. Each roster must feature at least seven national players and one current player.

The list is highlighted by pro football’s all-time leading passer Anthony Calvillo and the CFL’s all-time leading rusher Mike Pringle, creating perhaps the most dominant dual threat all-time offence of any team.
That was made possible in part by the dominance of the Alouettes offence line, with the all-time team featuring four Hall of Famers in the trenches and an eventual lock for the Hall in Bryan Chiu. The equally dominant Herb Trawick was included as a foundational player, with the distinction of having been the league’s first black player.
The two current players to make the team were ageless wonder John Bowman and ratio-breaking Canadian linebacker Henoc Muamba. Stefan Logan, who was released last season, also made the squad.
