Laval University hosted a football pro day for the fifth year in a row.
Offensive lineman Ketel Asse and defensive back Adam Auclair, brother of current Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end and Rouge et Or product Antony Auclair, performed in front of scouts from the Chicago Bears and Montreal Alouettes.

NFL personnel men first noticed Asse in March 2019, during Mathieu Betts’ Pro Day when he was there to support his then-teammate. Talent evaluators insisted on taking his measurements. During the past season, personnel men from the San Francisco 49ers and Bears traveled north of the border to see him play in person.
Asse checked in at six-foot-six, 311 pounds, nine-and-four-eights inch hand measurement, 34-and-three-eights-inch arm length with an 81-inch wingspan while pumping out 26 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. The athletic blocker recorded a 26.5-inch vertical, eight-foot, seven-and-a-half inch broad jump. He put down a 5.48 shuttle, 8.24 three-cone and ran 40 yards in 5.35.

After being named a first-team All-Canadian for the second consecutive year, Asse showcased his abilities at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl which took place at the Rose Stadium Bowl in Pasadena, California in January.
The massive o-lineman and his teammates up front contributed significantly to a Laval offence that scored 301 points, averaging 215 rushing yards per game and allowed only six sacks in 2019, all RSEQ Quebec Conference bests.
Meanwhile, Auclair measured six-foot-two, 213 pounds, eight-and-six-eights inch hand measurement, 32-and-two-eights-inch arm length with an 74-inch wingspan while repping 225 pounds 18 times on the bench press. He recorded a 36-inch vertical, nine-foot, four-inch broad jump, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64, shuttle 4.50 and three-cone 6.90.

Auclair took part in this year’s College Gridiron Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas after recording 41 tackles and three interceptions in his senior season at Laval.
The film from Asse and Auclair performing on campus will be circulated to all NFL and CFL teams.
