The Washington Redskins have released former CFL linebacker Kenny Ladler
He signed contract with Washington in January 2018. Ladler worked out for a handful of NFL teams before signing a deal in the American capital. Last season Ladler played one game making four tackles in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys.
During the 2018 schedule, Ladler played five games for Washington and three in New York with the Giants recording four total tackles.
Ladler was a CFL all-star at strong-side linebacker in 2017. He made 86 tackles, intercepted three passes and recovered two fumbles in 17 games. 2016 saw Ladler notch 70 tackles, two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and one forced fumble in 17 games.
The Vanderbilt University product was signed as an undrafted NFL free agent by Buffalo in 2014 playing two games for the Bills recording four tackles, but he was released after training camp in 2015. He’s earned nearly $800,000 while playing in the NFL.
The 27-year-old Ladler becomes a free agent in both the NFL and CFL.
