Eskimos re-sign quarterback Logan Kilgore

The Edmonton Eskimos have re-signed quarterback Logan Kilgore.

Kilgore signed with the Esks last February and saw action during six games for Edmonton. He passed for 1,119 yards with six touchdowns against nine interceptions while completing 65 percent of his attempts.

That came after Kilgore was out of football for the 2018 season, but he previously spent three seasons in the CFL, 2015 through 2017 split between the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The 29-year-old had played in seven career games completing 63-of-114 passes for 728 with two touchdowns and 10 interceptions prior to 2019.

Kilgore threw for 7,489 yards and 53 touchdowns at Middle Tennessee which earned him an undrafted free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints, but he was released after training camp in 2014.
