The Blue Bombers are set to re-sign pending free agent wide receiver Darvin Adams. His new contract is for three years, tying him to Winnipeg through the 2022 season.

The 30-year-old fielded offers from three teams amid the league’s negotiation window, per sources.

Adams has been with the Blue Bombers since 2015, recording 296 receptions for 4,226 yards and 34 touchdowns in 69 games. Though his receiving totals were down this past regular season, Adams made eight catches for 209 yards and one touchdown in the playoffs en route to a Grey Cup victory.

All five of Winnipeg’s incumbent starters at receiver are now under contract for 2020 — Adams, Kenny Lawler, Nic Demski, Rasheed Bailey, and Drew Wolitarsky.

The CFL’s free agent window officially opens on Tuesday at 11:00 AM ET.
