The Edmonton Eskimos have signed return man, running back and receiver Christion Jones to a contract extension.
Last August the Esks traded receiver Kenny Stafford to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for Jones.

Jones suffered a left knee injury in Edmonton’s Week 20 game against the Riders and missed the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old Jones played in 10 games for the Eskimos. He recorded 825 kick return yards on 40 attempts and 421 yards on 44 punt returns with Edmonton.
During three seasons as a Rider, Jones returned 111 punts for 1,441 yards and three touchdowns and also 51 kickoff returns for 1,225 yards.
Edmonton has struggled to find a reliable returner in recent years and Jones could be the answer for the foreseeable future.
