The 3DownNation all-decade CFL team: specialists

Below are the first four players to be named to the 3DownNation all-decade CFL team.

These are the unsung contributors — the specialists, players who can make a huge impact on any game without playing a down on offence or defence.

The race was tight at placekicker, a runaway at punter, and tight at long snapper where we imagine voters had a hard time assessing the candidates.

The player who finished atop the reader ballot has his name marked with an asterisk (*).
