The CFL trade deadline is set for 5 p.m. eastern time today.
The league changed from the original 4 p.m. ET in order to coincide with the daily status report.
While it’s nowhere near as close to as busy as free agency in February, there could be some moves made prior to the end of the working day.
Stay up to date with the latest regarding any possible deals here at 3DownNation.

October 9, 1:57 p.m. — Meeting of the minds in The Six.
#Argos personnel exec John Murphy says there's "significant" interest in Toronto today. According to Murphy, he, Pinball Clemons, Corey Chamblin, and Bill Manning will meet at 3pm ET to discuss offers and Argos current roster, and then decide what, if anything, Argos will do.

October 9, 1:23 p.m. — One day 3DownNation will get there.
I can't find the CFL trade deadline special. Is it because I don't get TSN6 in the office?

October 9, 1:13 p.m. — Smart idea.
My biggest issue with the #CFL trade deadline is it takes place with four weeks left in the regular season. In reality its really three weeks because it's too soon to work a new player into the lineup. How about moving the date to the last Wednesday in September.

October 9, 1:11 p.m. — Contributor JC Abbott questioning Zach Collaros.
If you are adding a veteran QB this late, you need a guy who can capitalize on limited opportunities in a small sample size and make big plays. When since his devastating injury has Collaros shown himself capable of that? #CFL

October 9, 12:44 p.m. — Derel Walker watch.

October 9, 12:30 p.m. — Not much action with the Eskimos, Stamps and Redblacks, yet.
Things appear to be quiet in Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa for now too. But with the #Argos needing a partner for any moves, things could change in a hurry. @CFLonTSNhttps://t.co/uOMnPq78Rs

October 9, 12:16 p.m. — Not much hummin’ in Hamilton.
Hearing from #CFL sources that #Ticats expect to be quiet on CFL deadline day. That does not mean Hamilton won't take calls ("never say never") but hearing from league sources that Ticats have no trade expectations Wednesday.

October 9, 11:44 a.m. — Zach Collaros in street clothes at Argos practice.
All 5 QBs at #Argos practice. McLeod Bethel Thompson taking first team reps. James Franklin Dakota Prukop &Michael O'Connor in helmets &practice jerseys. Zach Collaros is in sweats and a hoodie. It is interesting. Collaros is healthy. #Argos apparently not willing to activate him

October 9, 10:20 a.m. — Intriguing trade idea from our man John Hodge.
The best trade that could be made today is Derel Walker to the Calgary Stampeders. The #Argos need assets — draft picks, neg listers, depth players — and the #Stamps need to get better at boundary wide receiver. Plus, selfishly, I want to see Walker & Mitchell play together. #CFL

October 9, 7:23 a.m. — Montreal head coach Khari Jones doesn’t see much action happening for the Alouettes.

October 8, 8:50 p.m. — In Ottawa it’s been dubbed ‘dudline’ day.
Don't look for #Redblacks to swing any blockbuster deals on #CFL trade 'dudline' day … Araujo-Lopes could play this week … DB Dandridge could debut vs. #Argos.

October 8, 2:58 p.m. — The Alouettes could use some offensive line help.

October 7, 5:31 p.m. — Should Winnipeg part with a first round pick for Argo’s QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson?
If you are the #Bombers, knowing you are in your window but losing because of QB play, how do you not throw a first rounder at the #Argos for Bethel-Thompson. Your Canadian content is already exceptional so it won’t hurt you much and will give you a ringer for the playoffs #CFL
