The Montreal Alouettes will be without defensive back Ciante Evans for the foreseeable future.
#AlsMTL DB Ciante Evans, who made a critical interception before halftime vs. Winnipeg, will be sidelined indefinitely with a broken hand

Evans suffered the injury against the Bombers in Montreal’s miracle come back victory. He had some words about Canadian running back Andrew Harris following the win.
The 26-year-old has played in 12 games making 28 tackles and three interceptions so far in 2019. He signed with the Als in May following a stint in the now-defunct Alliance of American Football.
Previously, Evans spent four seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, suiting up in 48 games making 127 tackles, nine interceptions and three forced fumbles. He was a CFL all-star in 2017 and West Division all-star in 2018.
Evans is a high calibre defender who Montreal will have to try and replace.
