Two CFL on TSN analysts are claiming they’ve seen different B.C. Lions’ players quit on the team.
Long-time colour men Glen Suitor and Matt Dunigan were recently in the broadcast booth for Lions losses.
"There was a player who completely quit on a play that I saw in Winnipeg. I thought, if he starts again, they have a problem. If you continue to play him, as a coaching staff, the integrity in that room is gone.. That's part of the issue w/ #BCLions." – @GlenSuitor #CFL 1/2

"It's a severe criticism, but I saw it (a #BCLions player completely quit on a play in Winnipeg and then played the next week at home vs. the #Ticats)." – @GlenSuitor #CFL as told to @jamieson1260 2/2

Suitor won a Grey Cup with Saskatchewan in 1989 while playing 11 seasons in the CFL as a defensive back.
His colleague saw the same from the Lions.
On the #BCLions, @MattDuniganTSN: "I see guys quitting. I saw a guy quit a couple of weeks ago. And basically walk off the football field when the play was still going on. You can't have that." #CFL #BCLions via @DonnieandTheMoj 1/2

.@MattDuniganTSN cont'd:
"If that's allowed and that's not addressed, & that guy's still in uniform the following week, I think that wears on what's going on in the locker room." #CFL #BCLions via @DonnieandTheMoj 2/2

Dunigan won two Grey Cups in 1987 and 1991. Just like Suitor, the longtime CFL QB knows what kind of mentality it takes to succeed and win championships.
B.C. has the worst win-loss mark in the CFL at 1-9. The record for most losses in a season was set by the 2003 Hamilton Tiger-Cats who went 1-17.
If the Lions’ players have indeed quit as Suitor and Dunigan apparently observed, B.C. is in danger of being one of the worst teams in CFL history.
