Stanback won’t be on the field in Week 10 when the Als play Calgary, it’s the second straight game he’ll be on the sidelines after sitting out when Montreal lost to Saskatchewan in Week 9.
He required assistance getting to the Alouettes locker room after the Alouettes loss to Ottawa in Week 8. The 25-year-old had 12 carries for 88 yards and four catches for 24 yards in the game. He was hurt on the final snap of the defeat.
Stanback has rushed 87 times for 592 yards and four touchdowns averaging 6.8 yards-per-carry while grabbing 15 passes for 161 yards in six games so far in 2019. It’s the first season Stanback earned the every-down back role in his pro career.
