The Montreal Alouettes have activated receiver DeVier Posey from the six-game injured list.
Posey had been dealing with a calf injury.
Posey signed with the Als during free agency in February. He’s played in three games making nine catches for 100 yards and one touchdown.
The 2017 Grey Cup MVP had seven catches for 175 yards and one touchdown – including a Grey Cup record 100-yard TD reception – in Toronto’s 2017 CFL title game victory. He recorded 52 catches for 744 yards and seven majors in 2017.
After returning to Canada following Baltimore Ravens training camp in 2018, Posy played eight games with the B.C. Lions recording 29 grabs for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
The 29-year-old was originally drafted by the Texans in the third round, 68th overall in the 2012 NFL draft. The Ohio State product made 22 catches for 272 yards over three seasons in Houston.
Posey is a healthy game-changing pass catcher for Montreal.
