Leggett signed with the Albany Empire in mid-July, first reported by 3DownNation’s Justin Dunk. He started at defensive back in the league’s championship game, which was broadcast by ESPN2.
The 33-year-old made seven tackles in one regular season game for Albany as the Empire finished with the best record in the Arena League at 10-2. That meant Albany earned the right to host the title game at the home area, the Times Union Center.
