The Ottawa Redblacks have welcomed Canadian defensive back Antoine Pruneau back.

Pruneau had a cast on his hand left hand and arm at practice during the week following an injury sustained against the Montreal Alouettes in Week 5. He’s played in four games making 12 tackles, one special teams stop and forcing one fumble in 2019.
The 29-year-old ratio-breaking defender has spent all six of his CFL seasons in Ottawa after the Redblacks chose him in the first round, fourth overall during the 2014 CFL draft. Through 88 games, Pruneau’s recorded 305 tackles, 55 special teams stops, eight interceptions, four sacks, four forced fumbles and scored one touchdown.
Putting Pruneau in the starting lineup would help the entire Redblacks defence.
