Bombers receiver Darvin Adams suffers lower body injury

Winnipeg receiver Darvin Adams suffered a lower body injury against the Ticats.

Adams left the game and did not return after making three catches for 42 yards and one touchdown versus Hamilton.

The 29-year-old is second on the Bombers in receiving with 20 receptions for 267 yards ad three touchdowns. Adams is viewed as the No. 1 target for Matt Nichols. He had 1,028 yards and 10 touchdowns on 61 grabs in 2018. That followed a 1,120-yard, seven touchdown campaign in 2017.

Winnipeg is awaiting the determination about the severity of the injury.
