Ticats Canadian running back Sean Thomas-Erlington had to be carried off the field by two teammates in Montreal.

Thomas-Erlington was hit low by Alouettes defensive back Tommie Campbell and it appeared his left knee was the issue.

The national runner started the season as Hamilton’s No. 1 ball carrier with 33 carries for 224 yards and 11 receptions for 193 yards and one touchdown. Entering Week 4 play, the 26-year-old led the CFL in total yards from scrimmage (417).

Anthony Coombs, Jackson Bennett and rookie Maleek Irons will see action for the Ticats at running back in place of Thomas-Erlington.
