The Arizona Cardinals has released former Edmonton Eskimos receiver Bryant Mitchell.
Mitchell worked out for the Cardinals, Detroit Lions, New York Jets and New York Giants in December.
Mitchell had his best CFL season in 2018 playing 11 games recording 60 catches for 867 yards and three touchdowns. Over three seasons on Edmonton, the 26-year-old made 97 receptions for 1,418 yards and six touchdowns. He went unselected in the 2015 NFL draft.
A young, intriguing receiver has just hit the open CFL market if another NFL opportunity doesn’t come around.
