Mayala checked in at just over six-foot-one, 206 pounds, running a 4.67 40-yard dash, 4.25 shuttle, 7.10 three-cone, 30-inch vertical, nine-foot, six-inch broad jump and pressed 225 pounds 15 times on the bench.

The Montreal native led UConn in catches the last two seasons while starting all 22 games on the Huskies schedule as a junior and senior – Mayala started five games as a true freshman for Connecticut in 2015. Through four NCAA seasons, Mayala made 113 receptions for 1,352 yards and 12 touchdowns.

In the December CFL scouting bureau rankings, Mayala dropped from three to six and with the testing results scouts can compare him to the rest of a talented and deep class of pass catchers.
