Defensive lineman Mic’hael Brooks has signed with the Edmonton Eskimos.
Brooks played 11 games last season for the Saskatchewan Roughriders making 15 tackles.
Overall, the 27-year-old has played four CFL seasons, the other three with the B.C. Lions, suiting up in 54 games recording 98 tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble and one interception. He was a CFL West Division all-star in 2015 during the first year playing north of the border.
Brooks spent two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL playing in one game and registering one tackle. While on the practice roster in Seattle, the Seahawks won Super Bowl 48.
When Brooks is healthy he’s a force on the interior of the defensive line.
