Former Hamilton Tiger-Cats assistant coach Corey Grant is expected to be named offensive coordinator of the McMaster Marauders, according to sources.

The move will reunite him with another ex-Ticat assistant, Stefan Ptaszek, who was recently named head coach at Mac. Grant was on Ptaszek’s staff in 2010 and 2011 during his first stint with the Mauraders and again with the Ticats in 2016 and 2017 when Paszek was the offensive coordinator.

Grant spent six years with the Ticats, including last season as assistant offensive coordinator and running backs coach under June Jones.

A first-round pick in the 1999 CFL Draft, Grant played 11 years with three different teams, including a seven-year run with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He won two Grey Cups, one with the Ticats and another with the Riders.
