When Calgary Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson referred to members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers coaching and management staff during the West Final, one of the most common reactions among those who couldn’t be bothered to get offended: man, those guys should make t-shirts.
There were a few mockups floating around the Twittersphere and one or two may have actually been produced but the Bombers came out with their own version on Friday. Check these out:
Proud $*(?&#?$ Canadians. 🇨🇦

Those are pretty good! Especially the one that looks like the Goodfellas movie poster and depicts head coach Mike O’Shea (as the Ray Liotta character), president Wade Miller (as De Niro) and GM Kyle Walters (Joe Pesci, who gets whacked.)
For those that missed the origin of the story, TSN camera’s picked up Dickenson referring to something about “fucking Canadian” during a rant regarding the officiating in the West Final. It turned out to be “Fucking Canadian Mafia” in reference to the three Bombers staffers. Dickenson was fined by the league and apologized both publicly and privately.
Now, if they could just find a way to get them into the online version of the Bombers store so somebody can buy Dickenson one for Christmas.
