Bombers place receiver Weston Dressler on six-game injured list

Winnipeg Blue Bombers receiver Weston Dressler has landed on the six-game injured list.

Dressler suffered a lower-body injury in last Friday’s win against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The veteran pass catcher is in his 11th CFL season (third with Winnipeg). He’s caught 28 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns. Last season he recorded 51 receptions for 651 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games.

Prior to joining the Bombers, Dressler spent eight seasons with Saskatchewan, recording 7,797 yards on 539 receptions with 50 touchdowns. With his 51 receptions in 2017, Dressler has now recorded 50 or more catches in nine out of his ten CFL seasons.
