Redblacks throw shade at Duron Carter on TD Place jumbotron

The Ottawa Redblacks are expert-level trolls in their own right.

After Duron Carter was burned by Diontae Spencer for a 55-yard touchdown and drew two penalty flags on a fourth-quarter drive that lead to an Ottawa touchdown, the Reblacks threw some serious shade on their video board at TD Place.

Carter told Riders radio man Rod Pedersen before the game against Ottawa: “I don’t think they bring any challenges to tell you the truth,’ Carter shrugged. ‘They’re not better than the receivers we go up against in practice. So ya. There you go.”

That quote didn’t age well.
