American receiver Nick Moore has retired from professional football.
Moore played seven seasons in the CFL, five with the B.C. Lions and two in Winnipeg for the Blue Bombers. The 31-year-old started and ended his career as a Lion, winning a Grey Cup in his rookie season with B.C. in 2011.
“Congratulations to Nick on a great career,” head coach Wally Buono said in a statement.
“He was a pleasure to coach and we appreciate his many contributions to the club. We wish Nick all the best in the future.”
Over 69 career regular season games, Moore made 282 receptions for 3,758 yards and 16 touchdowns, including a career-best 220-yard receiving game against Hamilton in Week 4 in 2017.
