One Montreal franchise made a trade for Mike Reilly on Monday, the 24-year-old defencemen.

The Canadiens acquired Reilly for a 2019 fifth-round draft pick. According to The Hockey News Reilly “has tremendous offensive ability, as he sees the ice well and has excellent mobility”.
Those traits would be a great description for the CFL’s Mike Reilly, the 2017 Most Outstanding Player. Reilly led the league with 5,830 yards, 30 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing majors.
Montreal’s football team could use a franchise quarterback – repeat the familiar refrain with us – since Anthony Calvillo retired. The NHL trade deadline has us wondering: what would a blockbuster trade between the Als and Eskimos for Reilly include?
