Awe would’ve been entering the final year of his contract with B.C. in 2018. The 24-year-old played in 18 games making 54 tackles, 16 special teams tackles and one forced fumble last year.

Awe went unselected in the 2016 NFL draft coming out of Texas Tech University and he spent some time on the Tampa Bay Bucs practice roster that season.
