Riders sign O’Day, Murphy and Davis to extensions that match Jones

Front-office staffers Jeremy O’Day, John Murphy and Mike Davis have agreed to two-year extensions to stay in Regina through 2019, matching Chris Jones’ one-year extension

O’Day went from the field to front office in 2011 after 11 seasons on the Riders offensive line. 2018 will be his third season as assistant vice-president of football operations and administration.

While Murphy continues in his role as assistant vice-president of football operations and player personnel after coming over from Calgary when Jones was hired as head coach and general manager.

Davis joined the Riders in September 2016 and comes back as the manager of football administration.

“It was important for our organization to create continuity within our football operations to build on the strong foundation that’s been established,” president and CEO Craig Reynolds said Tuesday in a statement. “Chris is a proven winner and has surrounded himself with a valuable support system of experienced individuals.”
