It appears as though Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols could play in the West semifinal on Sunday.

Nichols hurt his calf on a non-contact play in the first quarter against the Lions and did not return in Week 19.
If as former Bomber quarterback and current TSN analyst Matt Dunigan suggests that Matt Nichols injury is to his calf that would be very bad pic.twitter.com/M4J1cMLzQX

Nichols started 17 games for Winnipeg in 2017 and threw for 4,472 yards with a league-best 28-8 TD-INT ratio. Dan LeFevour took his place in Winnipeg’s Week 20 win over Calgary. The 30-year-old had started 30 games in a row for the Bombers.
The Bombers host their first home playoff game since 2011 and getting their franchise quarterback back in the lineup can boost their chances of moving on.
