Canadian pass catchers snagged the headlines in our Top Canucks selections.
From a rookie, reestablishment of a player with all the tools and proven veteran there was a ranging trio of targets who impressed.
1. Jimmy Ralph, receiver, Toronto Argonauts
Ralph continues to be a late-season factor for the Argos. Six catches for 89 yards – including a 40-yarder – was the best game of his rookie season.
2. Shamawd Chambers, receiver, Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Since coming over from Edmonton Chambers has produced 253 yards in fives games on 24 receptions. Five grabs for 80 yards came in Hamilton’s blowout win against Montreal.
3. Cory Watson, receiver, Edmonton Eskimos
The veteran Canadian receiver made the most crucial catch of the game against B.C. on a 10-yard touchdown in overtime to score the game-winning major. It was a key play in a reliable season from Watson.
