Ticats kicker Sergio Castillo injured

Kicker Sergio Castillo was injured in the second quarter of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Castillo was injured after missing a 38-yard field goal late in the second quarter, his leg crumpling beneath him. He stayed down on the turf for several minutes before being carried from the field.

The team has said he will not return and rookie Felix Flaubert-Lussier, who was the emergency kicker at Laval, will fill in for the remainder of the game.

Castillo has been one of the few bright spots for the Ticats this season and was 29 for 34 on field goals with 45.1 punting average coming into the game.
