The CFL issued fines to two players for actions in Week 12 on Friday.

Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Makana Henry was fined for leading with the crown of his helmet on a hit to Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Dan LeFevour.

Edmonton Eskimos defensive back Chris Edwards was fined for an inappropriate gesture following the conclusion of play #140 against the Calgary Stampeders.

Absent from the list was Stampeders defensive lineman Ja’Gared Davis who delivered a clear head shot on Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly.

That hit led to Reilly being removed from the game by a spotter in Toronto, but no penalty flag was thrown on the play. Edmonton head coach Jason Maas let it be known how he felt about the entire sequence involving his franchise quarterback.

You could argue Davis, like Henry who was fined, led with the crown of his helmet.
