Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Brandon Bridge just executed a quality troll of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Bridge, who is starting in place of an injured Kevin Glenn, mimicked Johnny Manziel’s “money” celebration after throwing a touchdown pass in the second quarter and giving his team a 10-0 lead.
The Ticats have Manziel on their exclusive negotiation list and are reportedly talking to the former college star about coming to the CFL.
Manziel popularized the gesture while at Texas A&M where he won a Heisman trophy in his freshman season, though it’s seemed less appropriate as he’s struggled on and off the field….
Bridge was asked about the celebration after the game.
“Yeah it was actually planned,” the Canuck passer says with a laugh. “We always plan celebrations throughout the week. We keep it fun. I actually know Johnny, I went to the Manning camp with him two years in a row when I was in college.”
