Former Lions LB Adam Bighill accepts practice roster spot with Saints

Former Lions Adam Bighill has been added to the Saints practice squad.

The 28-year-old made 11 tackles, defended two passes and recorded an interception in four pre-season games.

He racked up 108 tackles – third most in the CFL – five sacks and one interception in 2016 for the B.C. Lions while earning league all-star for the fourth time in his six-year CFL career.

The five-foot-10, 230-pounder went undrafted by NFL teams coming out of Central Washington in 2011. After six years in the CFL, Bighill inked a deal with New Orleans in January.
