B.C. head coach Wally Buono clearly knows his team really well.
The 67-year-old entered the Lions locker room before the game to address the team.
“When I walk in here you guys should be doing what? Coming together. [You’re] acting like we’re not interested,” Buono said on the TSN telecast. “Rolly [Lumbala] lets go, talk to them buddy because they don’t want to listen.”
He called on captain Rolly Lumbala to get the team ready after that, but it didn’t work. B.C. went out and allowed the Riders to put up 29 points in a scoreless first half at new Mosaic Stadium for the Lions and his team eventually lost 41-8.
Buono proving he’s got clairvoyant capabilities.
