Outgoing commissioner Jeffrey Orridge won’t host the CFL Draft this Sunday, according to SportsNet reporter and 3DownNation contributor Arash Madani.

Orridge and the league’s board of governors “agreed to part ways” in mid-April, just over two years into what was supposed to be a three-year contract. He is scheduled to leave his post on June 30, shortly after the start of the 2017 regular season.
With Orridge on his way out, it makes little sense for him to helm what’s become a high-profile event for the league. Broadcaster TSN has two-hours of coverage across four of its five networks scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
