The six-foot-six, 330-pound Winnipeg native was the Canada West Outstanding Down Lineman of the Year, making him a finalist for the J.P. Metras trophy for the 2016 USports football season. Gray’s strong play and impressive physique – weightlifting background – helped get him an invite to the East-West Shrine Game. He showed he could hang with top NCAA talent and that caused scouts from eight NFL teams to go north to the Manitoba capital to see Gray’s pro day.
