Who the top prospects interviewed with at the CFL combine

With the CFL combine in Regina and a new Mosaic Stadium ready for use, team interviews are took place on the suite level at the fresh digs.

Every team gets 24 interview slots at the combine, 15 minutes per booking. The Argos and Ticats and separate rooms for offence and defence, allowing them bump their possible allotment up to 48. Each team conducts interviews in a different way, example: Saskatchewan had more than 20 representatives in their room (not to mention refreshments!)

Elite prospects generally meet with every team at the combine, which means they could be first round selections in the CFL draft come May 7. With that in mind, let’s take a look at which teams prospects met for interviews.

Offensive lineman

Johnny Augustine: all nine teams.

Receivers

Danny Vandervoort: all nine teams.

Nate Behar: all nine teams.

Mitchell Picton: Lions, Stampeders, Argos, Ticats, Redblacks and Alouettes.

Malcolm Carter: Riders, Argos and Redblacks Alouettes.

Defensive lineman

Evan Foster: all nine teams.

Junior Luke: all nine teams.

Jordan Herdman: all nine teams.
