According to ESPN’s Jenna Laine, Edmonton Eskimos receiver Derel Walker has signed a futures contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Walker finished second in the CFL in receiving yards with 1,589 and a team-leading 10 touchdowns on 109 catches in 17 games last season. He had 1,110 yards and six touchdowns on 89 catches in just 12 games and was the league’s most outstanding rookie in 2015.
Set to become a free agent in February, Walker was widely expected to be signed by an NFL club for 2017.
