Trump’s election sparks Twitter feud between former CFL teammates

The divisions in the United States played out by the election of Donald Trump as president on Tuesday night were echoed by current and former CFL players on Twitter.

The most telling exchange was between former Calgary Stampeders teammates Jon Cornish, Kevin Glenn, Jeff Hecht and Matt Walter. There were multiple threads to the conversation and Cornish deleted at least one Tweet – check each guy’s timeline to piece the whole thing together – but this was the most telling exchange.

The current and former Stamps were hardly the only CFLers to weight in last night. Here’s a sampling from around the league.
