Ticats to face Esks in East Semi-Final

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will face the Edmonton Eskimos in the East Semi-Final at Tim Hortons Field on Nov. 13.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 33-20 on Friday night to improve to 11-7, meaning the Eskimos (currently 9-8) are locked into fourth place in the West Division no matter the outcome of their game with Toronto on Saturday.

The Bombers can still host the West Semi-Final if the B.C. Lions lose to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday. Should the Leos win, they’ll host Winnipeg at B.C. Place.

The Ticats and Eskimos split the season series with the Ticats winning 37-31 in Edmonton on July 23 while the Esks beat Hamilton at Tim Hortons Field 29-26 on Oct. 28.
