Import receiver John Chiles is set to sign with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, per CFL sources.
The 27-year-old pass catcher shared an Instagram picture of a Ticats helmet in his new team’s locker room.
Chiles played in three games making 10 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns with Saskatchewan this season. The Riders released the University of Texas product on August 24.
Chris Jones says John Chiles was released for "production" reasons, not salary.

He did not play in the CFL in 2015 while trying to make the Chicago Bears roster. Prior to that, Chiles caught 73 passes for 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Argos in 2013 and 2014.
