At first glance, here’s what’s changed in the latest version of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats uniforms: pretty much nothing.
The CFL and the Ticats unveiled a new line of uniforms and apparel on Thursday morning, the first under clothing manufacturer adidas. And while some teams have completely re-vamped their look, Hamilton has elected to stay the course with only minor changes.
The only significant changes are a slight increase in the type size for “Tiger-Cats” on the home black jersey and “Hamilton” on the white away version and the removal of the gold trim around the neckline. The stripes on the pants have been eliminated and will now be a solid colour. The new CFL logo has also been added to the chest plate. The numbers on the back of the helmets are also larger.
It’s the first update to the Ticats’ look since May, 2012.
There is also a new line of CFL-themed adidas Originals apparel that will be available to fans.
More later.
