Mike and I kick things off by promoting the CFL Fans Fight Cancer event that will take place during Grey Cup weekend in Winnipeg. For more information, check out the group’s Facebook page.
Mike and I delve into the Ticats disappointing loss to the Redblacks last Sunday, including touching on the hot-button topic that is the Simoni Lawrence hit on Henry Burris. Warning Redblacks fans, you’re not going to like what I had to say about Burris. Then we discuss Donald Washington’s release and try to debate the Ticats player awards (which I voted on), but that goes about as poorly as one could imagine. We then talk about the other Week 19 games in the CFL, and I ask Mike a crazy question about the possible futures of Jon Cornish and Jerome Messam. We then preview Game 2 of the East Division Championship series between Hamilton and Ottawa. We end things off with what is likely the longest question segment in the history of the show.
As always, do not forget that you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or listen to/download it right here on 3DownNation.
