Today we’re launching the 3DownNation podcast in which Justin Dunk, who covers the CFL for 3DownNation, CFL.ca and Sportsnet, and I will discuss the hot topics from around the league, conduct in-depth interviews and break down the games each week. We’re even going head-to-head in a season-long competition called the 3Down Throwdown.
In the first edition, Justin and I examine Michael Sam’s departure from the Alouettes, talk to CFL commissioner Jeffrey Orridge about the league’s drug testing policy, the future of online streaming and whether the league will have a video game any time soon (as well as his penchant for dropping Jay-Z lyrics.) We also discuss what each team needs to get out of their final pre-season game.
Be sure to give us your feedback as well as questions, discussion topics and guest suggestions. Use the comments section or hit us up on Twitter @scratchingpost (that’s me) or @JDunk12 (that’s Justin.)
