Canadian offensive lineman Ryan Hunter went unselected in the 2018 NFL draft, but he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs immediately afterwards as an undrafted free agent, per sources
Hunter checks in at more 6-foot-3 and 316 pounds. The North Bay, ON started 12 games at left tackle in 2017, 12 at right tackle in 2016, 14 at left guard in 2015 and played in all 14 games in 2014 even getting on the field as a fullback during his Bowling Green career. All four playing seasons Huner was an academic All-MAC and MAC distinguished scholar-athlete. He majored in criminal justice.
Hunter joins fellow Canadian Laurent Duvernay-Tardif on the Chiefs roster.
The Chiefs view Hunter as a potential centre and guard with swing offensive linemen capabilites.
