CFL fans help save Ryan from Big Brother eviction

The #SaveRyan campaign actually worked.

3DownNation contributor and long-time CFL podcaster Ryan Ballantine is currently participating in the latest season of Big Brother Canada and was saved from possible eviction when 51 per cent of voters across the country cast online ballots in his favour.

Ballantine, co-host of the CFL Horseman podcast that covers the Calgary Stampeders, received plenty of support from the CFL’s strong social media community on Thursday and they were happy to celebrate the victory.

There was even a Game of Thrones thing…

Anyway, Ryan and his magnificent beard live on inside the house. Though his chances of winning the $100,000 prize still aren’t great – he doesn’t seem to be part of any alliances – at least his CFL peeps have his back.

    A weird dude.

  8. Way to go Ryan…I’m so glad we could help save you…I used my 1 save for you…I really hope and pray you win this whole game…please get rid of Ali Derek and Olivia.’s time for them to leave. They can’t win a comp or bring anything to the show…Olivia and Ali are too arogent they are just a waste of players in the house…at least if their there they’ll never win anything against you!! Keep up the good work

He only won 51% of the vote? If our psyche patient with unlimited names voted once for every handle he uses here then Ryan should have won by a landslide.
