  1. Jordan Yantz did not get a fair chance by Walters and O’Shea. He did not get one snap in their two pre-season games.

No kidding – another fake “try-out” by a token Canadian QB in a CFL TC; Quinlan is another example.

And there is a long list of top CIS QBs – great passing stats, Hec winners, Vanier winners, easily pro size – who got ZERO CFL TC shot to even compete for a spot, on one of the many CFL teams who had little to nothing proven on their QB depth charts; they will however, drag up any American QB they can find for TC. No mention of that though by CFL “commentators” on this topic = total joke. These guys ever heard of Michael Faulds, Jordan Heather, Jeremy Roch, Gabe Cousineau, Derek Wendel, Asher Hastings – as a few examples ?

Just like there has been basically zero mention of Laval QB Hugo Richard getting a CFL look. Richard has the passing stats to basically match Picton in college ball, plus he has lots more experience playing deep in the play-offs against tougher competition than Picton does – Richard won a Vanier; and he has shown better QB running/scrambling ability; and he is not 5-9/180 range – he’s 6-2, 220. But I guess just lacking something on his resume. Again – total CFL joke – that some of these CFL “reporters” either have no clue about, or else are too gutless to discuss in fear of offending the CFL types they cover.

  2. Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School. Several CFLers came from there. Some of the other notable alumni include Mark McMorris and Tatiana Maslany
