Alouettes agree to terms with DB Mitchell White

Montreal has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with defensive back Mitchell White, per sources.

White’s CFL career began in La Belle Province in 2014, the first time around he spent two seasons with the Alouettes playing in 28 games making 59 tackles and one interception. The Michigan State product signed with the Redblacks in 2016 and Argos in 2017, producing three picks each season and ending each year with Grey Cup championships in Ottawa and Toronto respectively. He was an East all-star in 2016 and brings reliable starting experience to the Alouettes defensive backfield.

The 27-year-old has been to two NFL training camps Raiders (2013) and Eagles (2017).

Good signing…. Also have made a couple nice ones today, really build up a TEAM and not a bunch of people with a few standouts… Time will tell, I guess

    • Mitchell White and Dominique Ellis were turfed out of town a couple years back. They both were pretty vocal abut it too. Not sure how good a sign it is that players who left in such circumstances are willing to come back, even if the GM and coaching staff have changed.

Hopefully it will work out OK. Now GET ME A QUARTERBACK.

Really *hope they* build up a team….

  3. This is big and so was the Tommie Campbell signing

  4. Guess he’s gotten tired of doing the ‘ring thing’.

  5. Sorry Als fans. I watched this guy intently for past two years. He is a gambler and cannot tackle, not unlike AJ JEFFERSON. Argos know this and he played well over his head. They needed him as they last decimated on on back end.Argos will sihn Heath probably and re upped on Sears Jr.
